Common questions about the operation and abilities of our booth

How Does it Work?

An attendant will show up early, set the booth up and ensure it runs smoothly for the duration of your event. Photos can be triggered remotely by the attendant, or manually by guests in the booth by following along with prompts on screen.

Enclosed vs Open Booth

In our enclosed booth setup, guests are out of sight and able to take silly or serious photos in peace. Lighting is more consistent and people are typically more relaxed. In the open booth setup guests stand slightly farther away in front of a backdrop setup. Our open booth setup allows for more people to be in the photo, at the cost of privacy during shoots.

Print Capabilities

Using a DNP RX1HS we can print up to 580 photo strips per hour and up to 1,400 before needing to replace the paper. This allows for continuous operation of the booth, and quick prints for everyone. The dye-sub printer ensures durable, long lasting photos that can be passed to guests within 15 seconds of a cycle.

General Information

How Far Will We Travel?

GL Booths will travel up to an hour from Norfolk in any direction for standard events. If you're outside of this radius let us know and we can try to work with you to get a booth at your party.

What Types of Parties Do We Work?

GL Booths is capable of working any type of party. We work parties such as Weddings, Graduation Parties, Birthdays, Retirement, Corporate Events, Holidays, Family Reunions, and more.

Can You Print Black & White?

As part of every photo booth package that we offer guests can choose to print their photos in either color or black and white. Coloration can be changed at the start of any cycle, by any guest.

Do You Provide Copies to the Host?

At the end of every party the event host is given a digital copy of every photo that guests took. If you would like hard copies as well this can be arranged

What Props Do You Include?

Our standard prop package includes a mixture of hats, costume pieces, glasses, boas, beads, and masks. Other props can be included if you reach out to us before hand, and any guests or hosts are welcome to bring additional props.

Are You Insured?

GL Booths is insured and can provide proof of insurance to venues as needed. If you have any questions about the insurance feel free to contact us for specifics.
